Get. Out of. The ROAD.
Am I the only one incredibly annoyed by people walking in the road who won’t yield to oncoming cars? Hello! The road is for cars. The sidewalk is for people. Use the sidewalk!
I understand that not every road has a sidewalk. That’s a different situation. Even so, most of the time there exists a dirt shoulder to the road. Use that if a car’s coming at you. If you get a little mud on your otherwise unused cross-trainers, too bad.
100-200 pound pedestrian vs. two-ton automobile: who’s going to win in a collision? It’s just common sense.
What really makes me angry are the walkers who, even when you have to move to the opposite side of the road when avoiding them, give you the evil eye as you pass. What? You’re the one who got in my way, you waddling lardass!
